    Description

A 18 1/2" Necklace strand of excellent condition, exceptionally rare (along the Columbia River) Venetian Native American Trade Beads.  This strand is composed of black and red floral decorated beads, oval white spot black skunk beads, white trail-striped red oval beads, white striped black beads and a large white center red skunk bead. All of these beads are original Venetians.
This necklace was put together from the personal finds by Daryl Baker, well-known former Oregon Archeological Society member; the necklace was in his collection for over 50 years.
The beads were found during the 1956 OAS excavation of Wakemap Mound along the Columbia River.
All artifacts I sell on Ebay were collected on private land and in full concurrence with all then applicable Federal and State laws.
