1962 Barbie Ponytail Vinyl Lunchbox & Thermos in Fine Condition & issued by Mattel. As listed on page 433 of the Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll Products as Rare & a guide value of 5 plus...however that is for the more commonly found "Black" version. This listing is for the Very Rare
"Red"
version which is not mentioned or pictured in the guide. In very nice used condition with some vinyl splits common to vintage 59 year old vinyls on the top back & inside hinges but the graphics & colors are bright & strong & this desired 60's Barbie collectible will
display very nicely
... Complete with correct matching thermos !!!  This lunchbox is unique in design in that it has two compartments..Top for your lunch & bottom for the thermos. I have ever only seen a few examples of this red example & when they show up for sale they are snapped up... 1960's Barbie collectibles are considered sure
