Check out this nice older spinning wheel for your buying consideration.  Would make a great gift or keep for yourself!
Think it is probably from the mid to latter 1800s based upon the wood workmanship, nails used, and how put together, but no expert, so you be the judge.  Uncertain as to country of manufacture,  I see no maker marks on the piece.   Check out the residual paint that is still on the wheel (remnants of red and blue).  Great looking oak wheel that is dowel pinned together with six spindles that is still solidly put together.  The whorl is there, the metal hooks that go thru the holes in it are not.
The spinning wheel just looks great.  The diminutive size took up less space, not sure if it was a child's piece or something else.  Don't get me wrong, there are issues with this wheel.  The base piece the treadle operates off of has a 3" split in the wood on one end and needs attention.  The whole unit is loose at the joints and needs to have some attention to get it fitting snugly together again.  The wooden rod that runs from the pedal up to the wheel is  there.  Beautiful whorl and bobbin on this piece, unbroken, no repairs.
The spinning wheel is 27" tall, by 14.5" wide, by 27" across.  The wheel is 11" in diameter.  The wheel will be partially disassembled to more safely ship it to you, so expect to have to do some reassembly.
The spinning wheel is delicate, so also offering local pick-up in Wilmington, DE.  I will also offer to deliver the item to within 60 miles of Wilmington, DE one way.  Price would be .00 per mile for the round trip delivery plus any tolls/parking fees.
So, for example, if 40 miles to your property and in tolls, it would be (2*40*.25+) for seller to deliver item to you.
