    Description

    Antique Iroquois Beaded Pin Cushion Wall Pocket 3 X 5.5. Condition is "Used". This is shaped like a little shoe and is intended to hang on the wall to hold sewing notions. I do not know the history of this particular piece but most were made in the mid to late 1800's and were sold as souvenirs in Niagara Falls and other tourist attractions in the area. The beadwork has some damage as seen in photos and flaws associated with age.  The red beads at the top are loose at one end. The back is uncovered. The hanger is quite damaged.
