Up for auction is an antique best guess early 20th century hand made coin or sewing wristlet purse recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA. Many pieces like these were made by North East Native American Indians such as Iroquois or their neighboring tribes. Well made. Fabric lined interior, exterior is cardboard or heavy stock paper. Retains original hasp and clip. Green and clear beads with sequins. Interior dirty. Cardboard has yellowed and is fragile, cracking. Believe some beads missing, on bottom especially. Purse size approx. 3.5x2.25", 9.75 with handle. Floral, looks like birch or maple leaves.Best of luck in bidding.
