We are offering an antique, circa 1920's, Iroquois beaded whimsy hanging box with beautiful floral and figural animal motif. Beaded Whimsies were created as tourist souvenirs. The piece shows wonderful glass trade seed and pony bead work and is from the Iroquois Native American Indians. This piece is a Whimsy Box that shows wonderful beaded motifs on all sides and hanging faceted beaded fringe. The box is constructed of heavy trade canvas and early trade clothe. In excellent overall condition. Very little wear for the age of the piece. Please study photos as they are part of the description. Measures 7" x 5" x 6" (sticking out from the wall) and hangs at a length of 17".
