Native American Beadwork - Strap / Dance Regalia

This antique I
ndian beadwork
was part of a small collection of American Indian beadwork items acquired by a person living in the Northeastern USA.   It was given to a Swedish relative in the early 1900’s, 20’s – 30’s and has now been returned to the USA.  No other details of its history survive in the family records and no authoritative appraisal has been conducted.
However, it is believed to possibly exhibit the style of the
Ojibwe
.
It is approximately 3.5 inches wide x 8 inches long.
There are several small decorative discs
missing,
but the piece is in very good condition as shown in the photographs..  This wear attests to its age and use, but the strap is structurally intact and could be mounted for display if properly done.
