Please dilute with water when using.
It is too thick as it is.
It takes about 1 hour to be dried although depending on situation of temperature , but better to paint after dried each time if you would like to try sealed with thicker.
It is much easier than other paintings, like Japanese lacquer.
This is actual liquid that I personally use, and some whetstone company using.
Japanese lacquer is the most ideal , but it takes quite long time and difficulty to be sealed,
It can be used usually with water dilution about 2.5-4 times, and the penetration condition can be adjusted. Of course it is insoluble when it dries. Peeling can be removed if it is rubbed for a while in warm water.
It is a resin that exhibits biodegradability when it is diluted by 5 times or more and placed at 20 degrees or more for a long time, resulting in less environmental impact. It can be over painted like lacquer and provides stronger protection. The surface is slightly elastic and slightly slippery even if it is dry. The resin that leaves softness and elasticity does not contain hard inclusions, so it does not interfere with sharpening and does not damage the blade.
It becomes clear when it dries from white, and since it is possible to observe the most important side and appearance of the back side of the grinding method at any time, it is especially important to avoid the decline in grade as a product. There is no offensive odor like cashew or lacquer, and even when diluted it still dries fast.
